38 – The Hard-Hitting Long-Travel Enduro Specialist
Welcome to the Big Time. If the drops need to be high and the jumps long, then the FOX 38 is the fork of choice. Optimized for long travel from 160 to 180 mm, this Single Crown suspension fork sets standards in terms of confidence, performance and durability.
As a representative of the Factory series, this fork with the proven FLOAT air suspension is of course also packed with features. On the technical side, the Gravity-focused GRIP X2 damping stands out in particular, which generates maximum traction and thus creates the necessary confidence for racing. While the shape of the bridge and fork legs skillfully increases strength with minimal use of material, the dip tubes impress with clever detail solutions. Both the "Bypass" channels and the special bleed valves are dedicated to pressure regulation in order to exploit the maximum suspension travel potential on the one hand and to optimize the fork's response on the other. With its smooth and extremely durable Kashima coating, the 38 fork is also visually impressive.

GRIP X2 | Greater Traction. Even more Control and Speed. When it comes to tunability, support and suppleness, this downhill-oriented shock stands out not only in the FOX lineup. Benefiting from the advantages of long travel, GRIP X2 generates maximum ground contact as well as immense cornering traction. This not only counteracts fatigue, but also gives riders the confidence they need to push the limits in Downhill and Enduro races.
Lower Leg Arch | The disciplines from All Mountain to Enduro to Gravity place special demands on a modern suspension fork. In order to meet these requirements, the bridge and lower tubes have a design that saves every superfluous gram without compromising on stiffness and stability.
Lower Leg Bypass Channels | The air pressure increases during compression, which can result in the fork not reaching its full travel. Channels in the dip tubes solve this problem by significantly increasing the air volume. This not only reduces the occurrence of unwanted pressure increases, but also allows oil to circulate to the upper sections of the lower tubes, keeping the inner seals and bushings lubricated at all times.
Lower Leg Bleeders | To further improve sensitivity and responsiveness to small bumps, the dip pipes have vent valves in addition to the "Bypass" channels, which allow the atmospheric pressure to be equalized at the touch of a button.
Kabolt X | This floating Bolt-On thru axle with one-sided Pinch-Axle construction not only saves weight at every conceivable point, but also improves torsional rigidity. In addition, the chassis alignment avoids unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs for smoother suspension movement across the entire range of travel.
