After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set standards and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by components from the M5100 and M4100 series, which will equip 11-speed and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.

Priced in the entry-level range, the current Shimano Deore groupsets are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that characterizes the big siblings in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions can also be found in the Deore components.

Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS Shadow RD+ rear derailleur

The Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS rear derailleur guarantees fast and precise gear changes over a huge gear range. The Top Normal rear derailleur for the Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain system is perfectly matched to the large 10-51 Shimano CS-M6100 cassette and features the Shadow RD+ technology already familiar from Deore XT and SLX for noiseless riding and secure chain retention.

Shadow RD+

Quiet drivetrain, less distraction. The Shadow RD+ system is lighter and more efficient than chain devices with rollers. A rear derailleur stabilizer not only reduces chain slap, but also provides a simple solution to prevent the chain from jumping off.
