Details about the Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro wheels

The Crankbrothers Synthesis Wheels take a new approach to wheel systems, focusing on combining a compliant front wheel with a stiff rear wheel to achieve optimal riding characteristics for everyone. The more compliant front wheel improves handling and control in corners, while the stiff rear wheel improves stability and directional stability at speed.

In the Synthesis Alloy models, these different properties are achieved by varying the spoke tension, spoke weight, number of spokes, rim width and rim weight.

The Boost wheels from Crankbrothers have a positive effect on stiffness and stability thanks to their wider axle. The wheel absorbs lateral forces generated in bends better. In addition, the greater distance to the chain allows the selection of wider tires.
