The SRAM XX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur changes the relationship between cassette and rear derailleur from the ground up. The integrated T-Type rear derailleur is mounted around the wheel axle and touches the cassette directly with a new type of eyelet-free interface. The groundbreaking Full Mount mounting method creates a much stronger connection and engages on both sides of the frame.

In addition to the already proven Overload Clutch technology (overload clutch), the 12-speed rear derailleur has a hidden profile with replaceable skid plates that increase reliability under high pressure during races. The lower derailleur pulley, the so-called Magic Wheelis used for chain management and continues to rotate even if an object gets stuck.

The Transmission components are interdependent and perfectly matched to provide greater strength, reliability and unsurpassed performance. Accordingly, the XX Eagle rear derailleur is characterized not only by unparalleled shifting performance and durability, but also by functionality and ease of maintenance that riders appreciate in practice. Specified with the familiar AXS Wireless technology, pairing and setup are also intuitive and reliable as usual.

Overload Clutch | Thanks to their incredibly resilient "overload clutch", Eagle AXS rear derailleurs are smart enough to protect themselves. In the event of an impact, the geared motor disengages, giving the rear derailleur enough freedom of movement to immediately return to its original position. The main purpose of the Overload Clutch is to protect the gear motor, but as a by-product it also protects the rear derailleur from damage. It also offers the rider a seamless riding experience.

Note: Only compatible with SRAM Eagle Transmission drivetrains and T-Type components. Designed for mounting on frames that have the UDH specification (Universal Derailleur Hanger) with an interface without derailleur hanger.
