The Topcap Adapter for expanding the easyLoop system so that it can be installed on even more bicycles. The adapter is mounted in place of the existing Topcap and thus offers the option of installing the Reverse easyLoop adapter above the stem. There are several reasons why installation above the stem is necessary.
- For stems that require special spacers and these cannot be replaced by the easyLoop adapter (e.g. C.I.S system)
- For bicycles where the steerer tube has been cut too short and no spacers can be fitted under or over the stem.
- For bicycles where the easyLoop adapter can be installed under the stem, but there is not enough space between the easyLoop adapter and the frame.
Details of the Reverse Components easyLOOP Ahead adapter
- Weight: 45 g (+/- 5 % weight tolerance)
- Material: aluminum (body), rubber (o-ring), steel (screw)
- Screw: M6 (for standard headset claws)
Not compatible with stems where the top cap is integrated into the stem or which require a special top cap.
Attention: No stem may be mounted on the Topcap adapter. The adapter is not used to extend the steerer and may only be used with the easyLoop adapter!
