For the latest iteration, the successful Downhill rider has opted for a metallic bronze color, inspired by the durability of this alloy, which reflects his relentless riding style in difficult terrain. The clip-in pedals, known for their exceptional racing performance, are given a personal and the finishing touch with the engraved initials of the exceptional athlete.
Also this version of the Mallet DH pedals is equipped with the characteristic 4-sided click mechanism, which has excellent mud-repellent properties and is surrounded by a concave platform that makes contact with the outsole of the shoe to ensure even better grip. Thanks to the largest platform dimension in the Crankbrothers portfolio, the clipless pedals with an anodized aluminum housing are ideal for Gravity racers who value safety and confidence the most when tackling the wildest sections of the track. Even when "unclipped", the ribbed body still offers plenty of traction, while its chamfered edges reduce the likelihood of unwanted ground contact. For maximum power transmission, the customizable surface also features 8 adjustable pins and 2 exchangeable traction pads, both on each side. As well adjustable are the release and float angle. The necessary stability at high speeds is provided by Q-factor of 57 mm, while the high-quality bearing system with double sealing ensures a long service life.
