Campagnolo Ultra chainring

The constant pursuit of excellence is one of the core elements of Campagnolo's brand philosophy. The Ultra chainring was created in the same spirit, to convert every pedal stroke into pure performance. Compared to its equivalent from the Super Record 13 series, the outer Ultra chainring also achieves a weight saving of 35 grams.

At the heart of this innovation is the carbon fiber structure, which combines absolute stiffness and low weight with constant power transmission. This construction is complemented by teeth made of aluminum 7075, a material that has its origins in aviation and, in addition to its exceptional lightness, impresses with its extraordinary resistance, even under extremely high loads. In order to maintain the reliability of both the chainring and chain in the long term, a hard anodization, a special heat treatment, is used as well. The result: lasting high performance and durability paired with smooth shifting and effective propulsion.

Each phase of the production process is characterized by absolute precision. The composite material is stabilized at controlled temperature and pressure values, sealing the perfect alignment of the carbon fibers. A process which demonstrates Campagnolo's outstanding know-how in the processing of technically advanced materials. Developed and manufactured entirely in the Vicenza factory, the Ultra chainring is much more than just a concentrate of technology. It is a combination of style and performance: logo and details obtained directly from the mold convey the attention to detail and elegance that have always characterized Campagnolo products.
