A synthesis of advanced technology and exclusive design. The innovative element of the Ultra cassette focuses on the end group of the largest sprockets which is formed by a monoblock made of aerospace-grade titanium. This construction combines high-precision machining with absolute resistance, extreme resilience and low weight.

Expressed in numbers, the unit with 5 titanium sprockets for the 11-36 teeth cassette puts only 113 grams on the scale, while the version with 4 titanium sprockets for the 10-33 teeth cassette weighs even just 84 grams. Compared to the equivalent from the Super Record 13 series, this means a total weight saving of 30 grams (10-33 teeth) or 44 grams (11-36 teeth).

The results are an optimized efficiency, more direct gear changes and a correspondingly faster engagement with every pedal stroke. The finishing touches are provided by the "Black Chrome" and natural titanium finish as well as laser-engraved graphics which lend the 13-speed cassette an iconic and unmistakable aesthetic.
