Super Record 13 – In Every Shift. We Do One More.
Since its introduction in 1973, the legendary Super Record series has repeatedly redefined the limits of performance in cycling sports. Developed in collaboration with professional athletes, the current iteration is now set to take on a leading role in terms of shifting speed, ergonomics and handling.
The New Standard in Performance. While gear changes are even faster than with the previous 12-speed components, a wide range of gear ratio options ensures that every rider finds the optimum cadence. However, the Super Record 13 groupset embodies more than just an additional sprocket. It represents a completely new performance concept that forms the platform for Campagnolo's future developments.
More Choice. More Control. Following the launch of the classic 2-speed drivetrain system for road bikes, Campagnolo is expanding the Super Record 13 portfolio to include other areas of application. The introduction of specialized rear derailleur options not only forms the basis for a dedicated 1x13-speed road bike drivetrain, but also for a 2x13-speed Allroad version and the Super Record X model series, which also relies on a 1-speed drivetrain system and clearly focuses on Gravel use. A TT version for time trials and triathlons is also already in the starting blocks.
Campagnolo Super Record 13 powermeter crank
The crank, which is designed for a mono chainring configuration, forms the heart of the newly introduced 1x13-speed drivetrain system of the Super Record 13 series. Like its 2x13-speed counterpart, the lightweight crank features visible carbon fiber arms for a sophisticated look that embodies Campagnolo's unmistakable aesthetic. The two titanium Ultra Torque half-shafts are firmly attached to these, ensuring direct power transmission and minimizing potential power losses. The same function is fulfilled by the bearings with particularly high sliding properties, another trademark of the manufacturer from Vicenza. The result is a perfect balance between technical innovation, iconic design and maximum flexibility.
At the latest when combined with the Campagnolo Aero chainring (not included), the Super Record 13 crank meets the demand for maximum efficiency, precision, and personalization, covering the full range from endurance to professional competition use with options from 44 to 52 teeth. In conjunction with the specifically adapted 13-speed cassettes, the result is a fully modular and state-of-the-art drivetrain system that offers a wide range of options for all types of riders. This is rounded off by the QCK-Tech bottom brackets (not included), that are also available in many versions and not only enable faster, more intuitive and more precise assembly, but also impress with superior structural stiffness.
In the powermeter version, 6 strain gauges and an integrated gyroscope enable performance data to be recorded with a certified accuracy of +/- 1 %. With the HPPM system (High Precision Power Measurement), every watt can be monitored in real time on the cycling computer or via the MyCampy app. The powermeter is attached directly on the axle and only records the torque. Influences caused by the natural flex of the crank arms are excluded in this way. The result is extremely precise and reliable data transmission. The charge status is not only easy to check using the integrated LED display, but can also be read out in the app or on the cycling computer. Meanwhile the magnetic quick-snap charging system, which is used the entire Super Record platform, ensures the power supply of the integrated lithium-ion battery.

Ultra Torque™ | The system, which uses two shaft halves that are inseparably connected to the respective crank arm, has nothing to fear from a comparison with an integral crankshaft in terms of torque transmission. A single oversize bolt ensures a firm connection, which also facilitates assembly. A larger diameter and the bearings located outside the bottom bracket shell, which allow for an increased support width, also make the entire construction stiffer. The Hirth spur gearing, which originates from engine construction, also benefits torsional rigidity and gives the Ultra Torque™ crankshaft self-aligning properties.
