Campagnolo Ultra ceramic bearings

Not visible, but no less important in Campagnolo's Ultra portfolio: the bearings for the crankset. These are tailored to the QCK-TECH bottom brackets of the Super Record 13 series and use ceramic balls made of silicon nitride which meet the requirements of international aerospace standards. This means not only minimal inclusions and metal particles, but also optimum roundness, maximum precision and excellent surface integrity.

To further improve the technical properties and reduce noise as well as friction between the balls, Campagnolo has also revised the inner cage made of resin. In addition, a double sealing system is used. While the internal sealing unit protects the bearings in the vicinity of the inner and outer ring, the external sealing system positioned between the outer ring and the bottom bracket axle ensures long-term cleanliness and a friction-free rolling behavior of the balls.
