Consistently developed for comfortable as well as safe movement and created with the aim of offering more versatility for the most diverse types of bikes. The experience-oriented CUES series combines incredibly smooth and stress-free shifting behavior with durability suitable for E-Bike use and up to three times greater longevity thanks to LinkGlide technology. With the U6030 components, Shimano is expanding the CUES family to make it easier for riders to get started in road bike and gravel sport.

Shimano CUES shift/brake set consisting of the ST-U6030 lever for safe handling and the hydraulic BR-U6030 disc brake caliper for constant braking power. Smooth and simple maintenance is ensured by the tried and tested One Way Bleeding system and the Easy Hose Joint System, which makes brake hose replacement considerably easier.

The brake/shift lever for mechanical 2-speed or 10/11-speed drivetrain systems combines the advanced features of the Shimano 105 series with the reliable performance of hydraulic disc brakes and the smooth and intuitive shifting behavior for which the CUES components are known. Its revised design with an improved lever position and a more ergonomic grip design is the result of intensive research into different hand shapes. The optimized and adjustable reach allows riders with very different hand sizes comfortable access to the lever and offers correspondingly more control.

The hydraulic Flatmount brake caliper of the Shimano CUES series was specifically developed for a brake disc diameter of 160 mm. This is accompanied by an integrated design that makes an additional adapter superfluous. With its slim and lightweight 2-piston construction, the BR-U6030 brake caliper ensures reliable braking performance in all conditions.

Dual Control Lever (DCL) | The Shimano DCL levers combine braking and shifting functions in one control unit for easy as well as comfortable operation. In raising the standard of performance, their innovative ergonomics are even more important to consider than adding additional gearing. However, the highlight of the STI shifters (Shimano Total Integration) shifters, is the ability to change gears front and rear with just one finger. The Dual Control levers owe this not only to an extremely precise and smooth operation, but also to the same stability for which Shimano's MTB technologies are already known.

J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint System) | For brake systems with J-Kit brake hose connection, the brake lever has an integrated squeeze seal (olive), which makes the installation and removal of the brake line much easier overall.
