FOX 34 SL – Unequaled XC Capability

Unparalleled XC performance in a 34 mm full-size chassis designed for travel up to 130 mm. This is the 34 SL suspension fork from FOX, engineered to excel on both the most technical cross country courses in the World Cup as well as the toughest down country rides. The key to this is noticeably greater stiffness and compliance, which translate in a negligible, minimal increase in weight compared to the Step-Cast model. In addition, the trail focused GRIP X damping has been revised to more closely match the ride feel of the GRIP X2 models. The result is a performance per gram that rivals any other fork in its class.

GRIP X Damper | The revised version of the versatile GRIP X damping system is not only quieter but also delivers an even better riding experience. It is based on the performance of the downhill-specialized GRIP X2 damping system but weighs a full 120 grams less, making it ideal for trail riding.

Arch Against | The casting features an arch that encases the down tubes, thereby increasing the fork’s torsional stiffness by a full 17 % compared to its XC predecessor, the FOX 34 Step-Cast. Strategically placed cutouts, on the other hand, help minimize weight.

Race Day Coronation | To save even more weight, the fork crown made from 7000-series aluminum was not only generatively designed and externally machined but also features internal bores with a larger diameter.
