AGU Commuter Tech Rain Jacket - hi-vis/reflection

The modern design of the jacket with asymmetric flap and magnetic closure has been combined with a durable, waterproof technology. The slightly extended sleeves provide extra protection for your hands. Thanks to the fashionable fit and high breathability, this stylish jacket is also great to wear when you're not sitting on the saddle. The neon yellow colour and reflective fog print make you particularly visible in traffic at dusk. Behind the zipper at the front there is a rain protection strip which offers additional protection against heavy rain showers. Tight-fitting elastic cuffs protect your arms from wetness and the easily adjustable hood keeps your head dry. The hood can be stowed on the back of the jacket, which has a ventilation slit. The 2.5-layer rain jacket is breathable, windproof and waterproof thanks to the special AGU Poray 10,000 membrane. All items in the Tech Series come with their own neon yellow storage pocket, which is also equipped with a Poray 10,000 membrane. The bag has a fastening that fits to the saddle.

Reflective fog print and neon yellow Hi-Vis design for improved visibility

Good visibility in road traffic is of central importance. In the dark, the combination of a reflective fog print and the neon yellow colour of the winter jacket ensures increased visibility in traffic. The print reflects the ambient light from headlights or street lamps falling on the jacket. So you are always clearly visible when cycling at night and on the winter commute to and from work. At dusk, the neon yellow Hi-Vis colour of the rain jacket makes it easy to see you even in rain showers and on cloudy days. The neon yellow colour not only absorbs and reflects visible light like normal colours, but also absorbs energy from the ultraviolet and infrared spectrum. This energy absorption is in turn reflected back as light, making it look as if the jacket itself is emitting light. Thanks to these properties, the neon yellow colour is perceived to be two to three times brighter than other colours - and as a cyclist you are therefore particularly visible in traffic.
