The classic in the rainwear collection. With this rain suit, you can get on your bike even when it’s raining and go to work or the supermarket. Thanks to the Poray 5.000 membrane, taped seams and lockable sleeves, you stay dry.
- The original Essential rain suit from AGU is based on a design from 1977, which was awarded in a design competition of the Dutch Ministry of Transport. We have stayed true to the look, but the technology has evolved.
- The rain suit is made of recycled polyester. This means it carries the Greensphere label from AGU. By buying this rain suit, you're making a sustainable choice.
- Under the modern outer fabric with a matte look is the Poray 5,000 membrane. During a decent downpour, no water can penetrate this waterproof and windproof layer. The higher the Poray number, the more waterproof the material.
- Thanks to the Poray 5,000 membrane, the raincoat is also breathable. The higher the Poray number, the better the breathability.
- Fully taped seams and double YKK zippers prevent water penetration.
- The front of the jacket sleeves are slightly longer to protect against rain. You can close the sleeves completely at the wrist to protect you from water and wind.
- The front of the pant legs is also slightly longer. So the pants can fall well over the shoes. With snaps you make sure that the pant legs enclose the shoe optimally.
- Reflective elements on the rain suit increase visibility in the dark and also safety in traffic.
- It's not raining (yet)? You can wear the rain suit even without rain. The hood is removable.
