With the increasing advent of e-bikes and speed pedelecs, the demand for special rainwear that protects against heavy rain even at high speeds on the bike is also growing. The Commuter collection has been developed precisely for this purpose. The Compact Hi-Vis rain trousers for commuters are a very light rain protection that can be folded and stored in a handy format. Thanks to the neon yellow colour, you are particularly visible in traffic at dusk. An elastic waistband and knee pads ensure a perfect fit and freedom of movement on the bike. The lower legs of the trousers have a 50-centimetre-long zip, so that you can pull the trousers over your shoes. Behind the zipper there is an integrated rain protection strip to prevent water from entering through the zipper. The leg ends have a striking neon yellow protective cover that fits over any shoe. These functional overshoes keep your feet clean and dry. The 2.5-layer rain trousers are breathable, windproof and waterproof thanks to the specially manufactured AGU Poray 10,000 membrane. All items in the Compact series are lightweight and have an integrated storage pocket, which is also equipped with a Poray 10,000 membrane. The bag has a fastening that fits to the saddle of the bicycle. With these trousers the storage pocket is integrated into the back pocket. For better visibility in road traffic, it has been provided with reflective elements.

Reflective fog print and neon yellow Hi-Vis design for improved visibility

Good visibility in road traffic is of central importance. In the dark, the combination of a reflective fog print and the neon yellow colour of the winter jacket ensures increased visibility in traffic. The print reflects the ambient light from headlights or street lamps falling on the jacket. So you are always clearly visible when cycling at night and on the winter commute to and from work. At dusk, the neon yellow Hi-Vis colour of the rain jacket makes it easy to see you even in rain showers and on cloudy days. The neon yellow colour not only absorbs and reflects visible light like normal colours, but also absorbs energy from the ultraviolet and infrared spectrum. This energy absorption is in turn reflected back as light, making it look as if the jacket itself is emitting light. Thanks to these properties, the neon yellow colour is perceived to be two to three times brighter than other colours - and as a cyclist you are therefore particularly visible in traffic.
