Continuing to draw inspiration from the cumulus clouds, Asics has redesigned the upper and midsole formation of this neutral running shoe. The innovative mesh upper wraps the foot with an even softer feel, providing strategic support in specific areas while leaving some of the fibers more open to improve breathability. The upper also supports midsole movement, resulting in a smoother stride from foot strike to toe-off. To enhance cushioning and flexibility, we've added 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION to the top layer of the midsole. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically placed supports in the midsole that allow runners to experience more compression in a specific area without reducing durability or stability. These support formations are tuned differently in the men's and women's models to accommodate the biomechanical data of each gender. By helping runners adequately compress the foam during the landing phase of their stride, this shoe promotes a smoother running experience and improves shock absorption.

A softer GEL™ technology unit is positioned under the heel to enhance cushioning, while the FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material provides a smoother and more stable ride. ASICS LITE rubber consists of a sustainable compound in the outsole, is soft and designed to improve durability in high impact areas.
