Small but mighty, Assos' second generation Spring/Fall Toe Covers provide targeted protection from wind and water where it's needed most.

If boots are too much of a good thing and shoes alone let icy cold air and water through, you should fall back on the Spring/Fall Toe Covers G2 to protect your toes. The material used is Assos' tried and tested three-layer NEOS Light Softshell material for jackets. It consists of a feather-light membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. But that's not all: Assos has also sealed the seams throughout to keep your sensitive toes protected from freezing wind, splashing water and rain and warm while you pedal through harsh weather. A reinforced, non-slip material is incorporated on the bottom for grip and durability, and a silicone band on the inside keeps the covers in place. As with Assos' booties, the open-edged zeroCuff makes for arguably the smoothest transition between shoe and material, further enhancing the aerodynamic profile.

• gripTecx: This grippy material with stretch on one side is used for the sole so that it is more durable and adheres better when walking.
• Sealed Seams: All internal seams are sealed to reinforce the waterproof properties of the covers.
• Silicone coating: A silicone band on the inside fixes the upper part of the shoe for a secure, firm grip.
• zeroCuff: An open-edged finish creates arguably the smoothest transition between shoe and cover.
