Handcrafted at Basso , the Astra combines the latest technology, high quality parts and plenty of style. The straight fork and the rear triangle are elements of the big brother "SV", resulting in a similar aggressive and direct handling. The integrated seatpost clamp, the internal cable routing and the elegant stem/headset combination make for a frame that not only impresses with the performance it offers, but also with its elegance.

100% 3k Torayca High Modulous Carbon Fiber is used in the manufacture of the frame, which is a blend of T700 and MR60 carbon fibers. This enables the Astra to offer performance on par with its higher end siblings, the only compromise being a few extra grams.

The Astra combines proven, rider-tested Basso geometry with a sophisticated tube structure for increased efficiency. A larger, more massive head tube combines with an extremely efficient down tube, which is further enhanced by a special shape. Both tubes couple with completely redesigned chainstays to deliver fantastic power transfer through a solid, responsive complete lower tube unit (head tube, down tube, chainstays).
