The 30mm rim, the heart of the THREE ZERO wheelset makes many things different than conventional rims. The innovative Safe-Wing-Profile allows a perfect support of the tire and a related soft rolling over the rim flank. An advantage that can be experienced directly with low air pressures and wide tire cross sections. Tipping of the tire is minimized to such an extent that the air pressure can be lowered by 0.2 bar on average without risking smearing or tipping of the carcass. This significantly increases grip, driving safety and comfort.

Also very special about this rim design is its puncture resistance. Normally, the rim flanges are formed as a standing carbon fiber laminate, which makes them more susceptible to delamination. The Safe-Wing-profile, on the other hand, has a completely circumferential laminate, so the material is closed and protected at the rim flange.
