Via the ANT+ FE-C interface, the Rider S800 communicates with your smart trainer to retrieve the previously defined resistance from the training plan and simulate it accordingly.
Reach new heights with Climb Challenge. As you approach a climb, the Rider S800 switches to a separate view and shows you the climb segments of the course. In addition, the Climb Challenge has a graphical overview with different color-coded climb segments, distance, elevation, progress, and start and end points.
After configuring a route with Climb Challenge, you can see upcoming climbs, distance to start/end of climb, current elevation/height at start and end points, elevation countdown, distance remaining, grade, altitude and more right on the Rider S800's climb page! By default, as you follow a route and approach a climb, Rider S800 automatically switches between measurement and climb pages to prepare you for the upcoming elevation change.
When you create or import a route, the Bryton Active app automatically generates climb data for your Bryton, Strava, Komoot, or any other third-party route imported into the app. The result is a Climb Challenge compatible ride for your Rider S800. After reviewing the ride, you can use the Bryton Active app to decide whether to customize these climbs by adjusting the total amount, range of climbs, start/end points, etc.!

After a short and simple pairing procedure, Rider S800 supports ANT+ Radar function. In the Rider S800's measurement view, the radar bar indicates approaching vehicles by displaying clearly visible vehicle icons on the bright color display, as well as status through a change in color. There are also three levels of warning with audible cues.
By using the built-in ambient light sensor, the Rider S800 can automatically adjust its backlight to the ambient brightness. For example, if you're riding in the woods, going through a tunnel, or riding on the Smart Trainer, the backlight will automatically get brighter, so you'll always have a clear view of your screen wherever you go!
Now you don't have to worry about missing important calls, emails or messages during workouts. Rider S800 notifies you whenever you receive calls, emails or messages after pairing with your smartphone via Bluetooth.
