The Bryton Rider S500 speaks your language! With an existing internet connection, no more on-screen input is required. Voice-activated Google search, available in over 100 languages, makes searching for addresses and POIs faster, more intuitive and even better: On the road, on off-road adventures, and wherever else you travel!
The Rider S500 comes with preloaded OSM (OpenStreetMaps) maps, improved zoom level (level 16) and on-screen POIs. A wide range of POIs are displayed on the Rider S500 map, including bike stores, grocery stores, hospitals, drinking water sources, restrooms and many more. By moving the pointer over a POI, you get a short description. In addition, the OSM maps in Rider S500 have been optimized for MTB routes and other off-road features.
When you're riding in open terrain, the Rider S500 will guide you back to the planned route when connected to your phone. Plus, you can retrace a route: Simply swap start and end points to get back to your starting point the same way.
Whether you're exploring new regions or following a downloaded route: Rider S500 is the perfect companion with preloaded, regional OSM (OpenStreetMaps) maps, turn-by-turn navigation, advanced route guidance data including street names (when connected to Bryton Active), POIs, summits (customizable in Bryton Active), distance and directional information, and more.
Reach new heights with Climb Challenge. As you approach a climb, the Rider S500 switches to a separate view and shows you the climb segments of the course. In addition, the Climb Challenge features a graphical overview with differently colored climb segments, distance, elevation, progress, and start and end points.
The new graphical training overview including zoom support offers advanced new features such as real-time intensity adjustment, TrainingPeaks support and a new resilience training mode. With the note function to add notes from the Bryton Active app or TrainingPeaks, training with the Rider S500 is even better! With powerful new features and a variety of integrable devices, Rider S500 lets you recreate the thrill of a real ride on your smart trainer! ANT+-FE-C smart trainer compatibility allows the device to communicate with your indoor smart trainer to control target resistance and power, simulate customized virtual workouts (Smart Workout), or even virtually mimic an entire track.
With Virtual Track Simulation, you'll experience endless workout possibilities from the comfort of your own home. Because of its compatibility with ANT+ FE-C, the Rider S500 works seamlessly with most smart home trainers and can simulate tracks captured by the Bryton Active app. These routes, transferred to the digital world, can simulate different inclines, providing a more realistic workout experience.
Conveniently create your own customized and virtual smart workouts at home with the Rider S500! Workout plans can be configured with the Bryton Active app and downloaded directly to the device. Via the ANT+ FE-C interface, the Rider S500 communicates with your smart trainer to retrieve the previously defined resistance from the training plan and simulate it accordingly.
Share your real-time location with friends and family with the new Bryton Live Track feature. Create a share link from your phone with the touch of a button and share it with any messaging app. Using the live track link, anyone on the internet can now follow you and keep track of real-time location, current speed, ride/travel time, distance traveled and last update time.
With a bike radar system connected via ANT+, cyclists are shown vehicles approaching from behind up to 150m away. The radar bar on the right edge of the display shows the vehicles in different colors and warns the cyclist in time of approaching traffic through notifications and acoustic signals.
By using the integrated ambient light sensor, the Rider S500 can automatically adjust its backlight to the ambient brightness. For example, if you're riding in the woods, going through a tunnel, or riding on the Smart Trainer, the backlight will automatically get brighter so you always have a clear view of your screen no matter where you are!
Compare yourself with riders from all over the world through the data recorded by the Rider S500. Workout files are automatically saved in FIT format, which can be uploaded directly to popular training sites. In addition, activities from the Bryton Active app can be effortlessly synced with Strava/TrainingPeaks/Selfloops/Today's Plan through account pairing. In addition, the Rider S500 also supports professional training apps such as GoldenCheetah to provide detailed post-workout analysis.
