This set consists of a IXON IQ front light with improved IQ Premium technology and a battery-operated diode rear light with LineTec technology. The set includes brackets, batteries and a charger.
IXON IQ Premium LED front light
The Ixon IQ with revolutionary IQ technology illuminates five hours long with up to 80 lux. The most remarkable technical feature of IQ technology is a special reflector with integrated cooling system. The light comes from a high-powered LED that is used as an indirect light source. For this reason, there is no bulb or diode to be seen in the center of the reflector. It can either be used in a high-power mode with 80 lux (runtime approx. 5h) or city-eco mode with 15 lux (runtime approx. 20h). With battery charge indicator, a full charge takes only about 4-5 hours. The bar mount with quick locking mechanism fits onto all regular handlebars.
IXBACK Senso LED rear light
A new safety dimension for cyclists in the dark: the innovative LineTec technology. LineTec uses a patented lens system to take the light from one high performance LED and create a homogeneous strip of light. This allows approaching drivers to estimate the distance to the biker much better - an enormous safety gain.
A lateral push button allows effortless switching between the operational modes 'On', 'Off' and 'Senso'. The integrated light/dark and motion sensors automatically activate the Light Box as soon as one moves the bicycle during or after dusk.
The removable light box fits perfectly in even the smallest pocket and it can be inserted into or removed from the bracket with just one click. It can be mounted quick and easy onto a seatpost using rubber bands or cable straps. It can also be mounted in theft-protected-way. If one would like the box to remain on the bicycle, it can be secured against theft by fixing it in the casing with a special screw. The casing however, is secured with an included click fix metal clamp. The IXBACK is powered by two LR1 batteries (included) - rechargeable via micro USB. A indicator LED shows the current battery status.
