The Bora Ultra 50 wheelset offers 50 mm deep full-carbon rims with 24.2 mm width, bearings with CULT technology and carbon hubs. It is improved in terms of lightness, aerodynamics, stiffness and comfort thanks to use of the new wider rim and front and rear hubs with different diameters. Every rider will be able to brake with total safety, in any conditions, thanks to AC3 technology on the braking track.

This legendary status is achieved by combining premium materials and extremely advanced engineering that render them not only capable of offering a race-winning technical advantage, but to maintain that performance over time.
The attention these wheels get hovers around what makes them reliable and also what makes them fast. However, speed and agility necessitate control if a rider is to make it safe and sound to the finish line. The Campagnolo engineering staff has developed brake tracks that will confer a braking performance above and beyond anything found on Campagnolo carbon rims to date.
The new construction relies on AC3™ technology to create surefooted stopping power that is reliable and potent no
matter the weather conditions. All Conditions Carbon Control™, or AC3™, was developed not only to generally improve an already great braking performance but also to address one of the principle drawbacks to the carbon fiber racing rim: braking performance in the wet. Aside from the externally obvious textured design upon the brake track, the construction of the new Bora™ wheels underwent some internal optimization to orient the fibers in a way to guarantee maximum integrity in the face of new input deriving from a new braking surface. The highly sophisticated resin optimized by Campagnolo engineering staff to withstand higher temperatures than the Bora™’s competition and to dissipate the extreme heat produced during the braking phase.

G3 geometry
Campagnolo® has developed an assembly architecture which, compared with a traditional wheel, makes it possible to improve energy transfer, reduce the stress on the spokes on the right and increase transverse rigidity. This is achieved because in G3™ geometry the right-hand side of the rear wheel is fitted with twice as many spokes as the left.
The results of G3™ system are truly extraordinary: better transfer of the driving torque, better lateral rigidity, reduction of the stress in the rear wheel spokes. And thanks to the G3™ system that compensates for the forces acting on the 2 sides of the wheel, there are no more wheel vibrations, even for heavier people.
The wheel is entirely hand-assembled by a specialised Campagnolo® technician and is checked in every tiny detail with electronic instrumentation.
