The 10-Series headsets combine the design and steering feel of Cane Creek's 40-Series headsets with simpler machining and cheaper materials. The 10-Series features the same internal part geometry as Cane Creek's high-end headsets, allowing them to be upgraded with higher quality replacement parts.

Inner parts are compatible with 10, 40 and 110 series.

The designation 10.EC49 Bottom describes the 1.5 inch Ahead headset with external bearing shells, only the lower part is offered here, the designation according to S.H.I.S. (see attachment) is EC49/40.
