The CITEC 3000 S Aero Carbon DB (Disc Brake) is a perfect wheel for training and competition. The 31mm aerodynamically optimized rim is manufactured using a specially developed aluminum-carbon bonding system for extreme durability while maintaining a low weight. Available with 20 bladed spokes with reduced air turbulences and less drag. The near absence of air turbulence around the spokes results an unsurpassed aerodynamic performance.
All play between hub and spoke is eliminated through the use of straight spokes threaded directly into a special sleeve in the hub. Even under permanent load CITEC wheels will resist spoke breakage, while constant re-tensioning and re-truing become unnecessary. Furthermore it increases the true running stability.
Citec grants 5 years of warranty against spoke breakage.
