From the "child-friendly tour for explorers" to the hike "for nature lovers and connoisseurs of Bavarian beer," there is something for every taste. Among other things, there are walks through Munich's Old Town and the English Garden, hikes at Lake Starnberg and in the Mangfall Valley, and tours along the Isar, Würm and Amper rivers. For each hike, a short info block summarizes all the important information about time requirements, rest stops, train connections and places to stop for refreshments. In the process, they came up with the idea of describing the charms of their hometown of Munich and its immediate surroundings in day trips.
