The Mountain King is an all mountain tire with Enduro ambitions and therefore the perfect companion for sporty rides. Thanks to the biting middle and grip external studs you are always safe on the road, especially in mountainous terrain. While the center studs are designed for acceleration and speed, the deep-sitting outer studs provide stability on the trail. Good handling is therefore guaranteed, even on soft or wet surfaces.
The ProTection layer offers an excellent puncture protection while the BlackChili compound provides a low rolling resistance without compromising in grip.
The 2.6 inch version offers a particularly comfortable driving experience. The larger diameter makes it easier to roll over obstacles, gives more traction and nestles snugly on the trail instead of just rolling over it. The weight remains relatively low. Thanks to the specially optimized casing, it is possible to drive the tire with a lower air pressure than usual. This provides a special grip experience.

Shield Wall System - The ShieldWall system combines the optimum combination of high puncture protection and the low rolling resistance with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which consists of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tire a high resistance to punctures and damage. Despite its additional ply, the tire has a very good damping property and a high degree of flexibility to adapt perfectly to the ground. The revolutionary tubeless ready bead allows easy and uncomplicated mounting of the tire. For best results in sealing and in use, we recommend the use of the new Continental RevoSealant sealant.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
